Solid oak dining table – Japanese style – sizes can be varied
If you are in the market for a handcrafted, beautifully crafted dining table, look no further. Our stunning solid oak dining table is the perfect addition to the modern minimal household.
The oak planks are bought from local traders in a thickness of 62mm, the wood is then dried for a few more weeks. We then plane the strips to 40 mm. The entire table is 40mm thick. The surface consists of 5 strips of 20 cm wide oak strips that are glued together, with 2 end pieces glued in from both sides to prevent the surface from sticking.
The legs are attached with stainless steel industrial strength hinges.
This allows for easy setup for the customer, easy delivery and a strong connection between the top and legs. A strip of oak secures the legs together.
The object in the photos is 2 meters long, 1 meter wide and 78 cm high.
